Since 1998, the award winning designer Andrew Geoghegan has been garnering a reputation for precision-designed jewellery; for pieces that unify sometimes seemingly contradictory elements – angular facets and soft curves, warm shades and metallic coldness. The spirit and ambition of each creation is to enhance and illuminate beauty, never to eclipse it; to complement and invigorate it. Originally working out of his studio in the lush hills of Yorkshire, Andrew now spends time in various European locations as a way of inspiring his work.
Andrew Geoghegan: Multi award winning British jewellery designer
We at S.T.Hopper of Boston, have collaborated with the multi award winning jewellery designer Andrew Geoghegan (who's accolades include Jewellery Designer of the Year 2014, Editors Choice International Jewellery London 2015). This partnership has created a totally unique design to reflect the heritage and history of the firm. The simple Art Deco inspired design harks back to a time in 1926 when Stanley Hopper first threw open his doors in the historic Market Town of Boston.
Claypoole Jewellers was based in Boston’s Strait Bargate and was eventually taken on by Stanley T Hopper in 1926
It was decided that the piece of jewellery was to be a quality ring, beautifully crafted in 18ct white gold and set with a stunning aquamarine to the centre, flanked on each shoulder by exquisite round brilliant cut diamonds.
The beautiful '1926' Aquamarine ring exclusively made for S.T Hopper Boston
The choice of aquamarine was an easy one, it's long been a favourite for vintage jewellery, but with the more recent Royal Wedding and the 'Diana Ring' that the Duchess of Sussex was seen wearing on the evening of her wedding has meant that Aqua has seen a huge renaissance. For S T Hopper to be able to join forces with an outstanding British designer such as Andrew Geoghegan was a fantastic opportunity for us as a firm to show just what we are all about. We are absolutely thrilled with the outcome.
Stanley shown here started the company in 1926 and we're still going strong 94 years later!
